I am fascinated by the world of online gambling and love that my job allows me to report on developments and changes happening in international gambling markets. Every country is different regarding online gambling, and this really keeps me on my toes.

My Online Gambling Start

My foray into online gambling happened by chance. During university, a friend introduced me to online casinos and the idea that I could play my favourite table games from the comfort of my own home. I was immediately enraptured and wanted to know more.

I learned the ins and outs of the business at this company for 5 years. Then I took the plunge and decided to start freelancing using all the knowledge I’d acquired. Because of my experience living overseas, my specialty during this time naturally became international gambling markets.

I then decided to join the team at Scams.info and I am the go-to person for the latest trends and developments in the international arena. It definitely helps that when I am not working, I am an avid player of slots and table games, online poker being a particular favourite.

For countries where online gambling laws are not so clear cut and there are more scam sites to muddy the water, I love helping players find legitimate online casinos. I have lived or studied in many of the countries I write about, so I have first-hand experience with the online gambling regulations in these places.

My gambling content focuses on international markets, with my area of expertise including countries such as India, Canada and Kenya. Probably the most challenging part of my role is staying up to date with many ever-changing markets that all have their own nuances and different laws regarding online gambling.

It’s important to me that players can feel safe exploring the fun world of online gambling, and that they use trustworthy and legit sites to do this. I don’t want anyone getting taken in by any online scams and if I can help mitigate this risk, then I know I am doing my job correctly!
